He is a seasoned Safety & Risk Control Professional with over two decades of dedicated experience. He has risen through the ranks, specializing in the public sector, particularly in public schools. Sameer's journey in the world of insurance risk management, workers' compensation, and property and casualty has been nothing short of remarkable, and we are thrilled to have him as the latest member of our executive team.
Career Journey
Beginning his career with a passion for collaboration and a consultative approach, Sameer excelled in understanding the intricate insurance and financial landscapes of his clients. His commitment to providing legendary customer service has fostered long-term relationships, ensuring the success of his clients while optimizing public dollars spent on insurance needs.
In pivotal roles at New Jersey Schools Insurance Group (NJSIG) and Utica National Insurance Group, Sameer executed safety, environmental, and risk management strategies across diverse sectors. His tenure at NJSIG involved overseeing insurance for hundreds of public-school districts, showcasing his leadership in audits, risk mitigation, business continuity planning and safety risk control planning.
As Vice President of Strategic Risk at Alamo, Sameer will take the helm at Alamo Insurance Group, steering the Strategic Risk Management division of Alamo group. His role entails delivering comprehensive enterprise risk management services, strategically mitigating risks across various coverage areas to cater our clientele's needs. This involves overseeing strategic risk mitigation efforts and providing robust risk management services across all lines of coverage.
Education and Expertise
Sameer holds a Master of Science in Management focused on Strategic Leadership and Value Chain Management from the University of Illinois, complemented by Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Statistics. His comprehensive skill set encompasses problem resolution, project planning, team leadership, and effective communication.
